That was fan-bloody-tastic.

Consistently badass graphics.
Amazing style - the bgs looked great and the characters were animated very well.
Great song and appropriate sound effects when needed.

I loved the ending, the camera man's face of mild-disbelief was just hillarious.

Real good job on this, I enjoyed watching it (what more could you ask for?).

You get a Five, a Ten and I'm going to submit it to the 'funny movies' collection :)

ConAir responds:

That's more than I could ask for haha, thanks for all the kind words. Also, I'm glad you liked the ending, I wasn't sure if I conveyed the whole movie-production thing quite right but I guess I did. Thanks again!

Love it.

The whitmore-shaped hole in my heart has been filled. Thank you.

EdibleCastle responds:

..aw, that's so nice of you to say.

I liked this.

This episode seemed way funnier than the other ones. I'm not sure why, it just worked better. The fight scene was quite intense, the TooFsplosion was awesome. It would have been nice to have seen more general destruction in that sorta way.
Good job, 4/5.

ps: why did animatorjones' monster save the day?

MACception responds:

Lol...he didn't save the day, he killed Cubey :) I made that character in honor of Jonsey, but sadly he doesn't even like him that much.

Yeah, I love doing those TooFsplosions :) Thanks for the review dude!

Ace.

You really seem to be fulfilling your creative vision, it's awesome to see it developing. Anyhoo:

Graphics: The backgrounds are amazing. You've worked hard on making sure that there is a consistent (and very high) standard throughout each scene. I knock of a single mark here, because the main characters are sticks. You've done great work, don't get me wrong, but no matter how different you make them (with reference to the haircuts and hats, etc), they'll only ever be sticks. Of course, this must allow you to spend so much time perfecting your backgrounds!

Your style is flawless. You manage to manipulate light seamlessly. I can't think up any criticisms for your style, other than that this episode was significantly slower paced than the previous one - there was a lot of walking with no plot/character development, which made it somewhat dull. For the script errors, I've deducted two points here.

The voice acting is, generally, solid. However the quality of Beecher's recordings were poor and Boomer sounded a tad bored. Great use of music throughout.

Overall: As I mentioned earlier, your truly suceeding in bringing your vision to (proverbial) life. Your directing ability is very good, except for the long periods of nothing which punctuated this film. For example: why show four shots of helicopters flying when only one would suffice? You need to work on the timing.

Small problems I found, but this is still a magnificent project. Very well done and a 5/5 for you.

Get-lost responds:

Thanks alot.

Mistletoe rapings!?

Great graphics. Your cartoons are full of character and looking crisp like a frosty scottish morning. Ace job here.

Style-wise, there was a gratuitous use of the blur filter....it made it lag a smidgen...I'd try and refine my use of it, if I were you.

Sweet jesus I love that song. It reminds me of a Harry Enfield sketch I saw ages ago. The voice acting was a bit weak, but it still managed to do the job.

Humour: I feel it would have been funnier had the voice actor BELLOWED the line. The ending rape was highly amusing.

Overall, it was pretty solid. I enjoyed the brief and fleeting company of this rather merry cartoon. I hope you do something more substantial next time, as your characters reek of potential.

4/5: Nice one!

VictorVonVice responds:

thnx Moose. <3 much love to you. ^^

My 150th review!?

Please note, the review you are about to read is very hard to type as my space bar isn't working properly.

Graphics: They're original and pretty good. I can't say I've seen anything like them before. However, I found the lines a bit too rag-tag. They look like they need a good ironing, if you get what I mean. I'd be interested to see what they'd look like when you smoothed them out a bit.

Style: Your FBF is really good. I'm very impressed with the ammount of time you must've put in to create such awesome animation. I take my hat off to you, sir.

Sound: The voice recordings were all of a good standard, but I feel the voices need to be a bit more different.

violence....interactivity....

Humour: I didn't laugh, but it is kinda funny. I can't suggest improvements on script-writing.

Overall you get an 8. You're really getting somewhere with this series and I can't wait to see where it's headed. Next time, maybe make it a bit longer and try to include some out of House scenes.

4/5

Good work!

Snubby responds:

Thanks for the awesome review. I'll be looking into the voices and try to differentiate them a bit. Also, others have complained that the plots are boring, so I'll work on that too :D

<3

Not too shabby.

The graphics were a bit choppy but pleasant. My advice would be to use the line tool to create celery-sharp edges for the characters as of the blunt and blundering of brush-tool.

The style was sorta nifty. I'd up the framerate as the tweens were somewhat jittery. Please add limbs next time. Also, no one plays the guitar with their hand behind it. That was lazy: you should have draw a hand!

Sound: Nice song.

Violence, Interactivity, Humour: etc.

Overall: The lip-sync was fine. I understand that this was a lip-sync project, but you should have really put more effort into other aspects of the cartoon. One example would be the hands. I'm sure you'll pull of something much more substantial and interesting next time.

Well done: 2/5.

MikeStand responds:

"Also, no one plays the guitar with their hand behind it"
What!? Everyone plays guitar with their hand behind the fret board, that's how you hold it!

Thanks for the advice though. The hands are intentionally as they are, mainly becuase, yes, it is alot easier, but also because that's the style I use.

Wehey

I feel his pain.

Anyhoo...

Graphics: Consistently awesome. You've got a great, great style going on. I can't think of any improvemenets.

Style: To me, style is animation. The animation was great. I would usually associate tweening with laziness, but you certainly weren't lazy (unless you'd made the models before xD). It looked very very good.

Sound: Fun voices, but the quality was a tad dubious at times. Not to mention luigi's (?) shout at the end...it lacked passion. Small complaint, but it stood out. Great choice of music for the credits.

Violence: there was a bit.

Interactivity: Preloaader and replay button? Yep.

Humour: Pretty funny. I don't laugh at internet cartoons and this was no exception, but it certainly made me smile a bit. It was clearly funny, but I'm incapable of laughing....

In conclusion you get an EIGHT. I understand that this was a short, but it was a very short short. Keep it up Mr. Wonchop.

4/5 and added to favourites. Well Done!

Wonchop responds:

Well the Ruth one I made ages ago and hadn't used til now. Same with the Wonchop one, althought I used that for PPGZ in a Nutshell. The B3n and Wez models are recent though. :3
Also, the scream would've been better were it not for my family playing board games in the next room.

I remember this from the flash forums!

Glad to see you finally finished it. It was prett funny actually...well, the bit with the cow made me chuckle a tiny, tiny bit (which is very good for a web-cartoon!) Excellent graphics, average animation and good use of music. My main concern is the animation, you can do better!
Keep it up!

Jimp responds:

Thanks for the review man, really appreciate it. Yeah, I need to work on my fbf animation a bit.

Nice guys.

The graphics were consistently very very good. Nothing too amazing, but definately pleasing on the eye.

Style: Brilliant! There was a genuine variety in the styles of each animation. My personal favourites were coolio_niato and steven m. I only gave an 8 because of that damn kirby sprite....that could've been done a helluva lot better.

Great sound, seemed to fit the theme.

I never laugh at cartoons, but I could see that some people would find it funny.

Overall it was very good. It's worth watching it just to see steven m's amazing style. Of course, all of the parts were good. Well done chaps.

Evan responds:

Ha, steven m is good. Guess the british have to stick with the british, right?

Used to mess about with flash for fun, now do it professionally.
